چکیده
Legumes offer the opportunity to reduce nitrogen (N) fertilizer requirements of crop rotation but capacity subsequent recover N provided by legume determines saving. Therefore, breeding for genotypes capable take up under different limiting conditions is essential understanding performance and optimizing fertilization. The objective this work was test ability four wheat ( Triticum aestivum L.) with drought-tolerance (Cellule, Apache, Allez-y, Nogal) from precedent water scenarios. Two field experiments pea–wheat barley–wheat rotations, two irrigations levels, three treatments were conducted in central Spain over 3 years. biomass, uptake, nutrition index (NNI) determined at flowering, grain yield (GY), concentration (GNC), output harvest. crops enabled a reduction fertilizer, its effect depended on genotype climate conditions. drought-tolerant (Apache Cellule) had highest NNI, GY, low inputs, whereas Allez-y Nogal obtained better non-limiting study confirms differences between genotypes, root system, uptake levels highlights potential NNI assess status. • Barley-wheat pea-wheat rotations various × levels. Study bread drought-tolerance. Drought-tolerant present higher N. Nitrogen identified capability. Identification translocation should be improved.

Investigating the Combined Effect of Tillage, Nitrogen Fertilization and Cover Crops on Nitrogen Use Efficiency in Winter Wheat
A field study was conducted in northern France over two consecutive years to evaluate the combined effect of conventional tillage (CT) vs no till (NT) with or without cover crops (cc) and nitrogen (N) fertilization on various agronomic traits related to N use efficiency in winter wheat. Five years after conversion of CT to NT, significant increases in N use efficiency, N utilization efficiency,...
متن کاملThe Nitrogen Contribution of Different Plant Parts to Wheat Grains: Exploring Genotype, Water, and Nitrogen Effects
The flag leaf has been traditionally considered as the main contributor to grain nitrogen. However, during the reproductive stage, other organs besides the flag leaf may supply nitrogen to developing grains. Therefore, the contribution of the ear and other organs to the nitrogen supplied to the growing grains remains unclear. It is important to develop phenotypic tools to assess the relative co...
متن کاملThe effect of post-anthesis water supply on grain nitrogen concentration and grain nitrogen yield of winter wheat
The effect of water supply during grain growth on grain nitrogen concentration (GNC) and grain nitrogen yield (GNY) of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) was studied in the field experiment on fertile loamy-clay soil in years 2004–2007. The water regime was differentiated using mobile rain shelter (water shortage, treatment S) and drip irrigation (ample water supply, treatment W); rain-fed cro...

متن کاملAbsorption Kinetics and Subcellular Fractionation of Zinc in Winter Wheat in Response to Nitrogen Supply
Nitrogen (N) is critical for zinc (Zn) absorption into plant roots; this in turn allows for Zn accumulation and biofortification of grain in winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), an important food crop. However, little is known about root morphology and subcellular Zn distribution in response to N treatment at different levels of Zn supply. In this study, two nutrient solution culture experiment...
